Mrs. Marianne Triana

Principal

Marianne Triana, an educator for over 16 years, currently serves as the Principal of AcadeMir Preparatory Academy and AcadeMir Charter School Middle. She previously served as the Assistant Principal of AcadeMir Charter School Preparatory (ACSP). During her time there, ACSP became an A rated school, making large gains and achieving academic success. She helped develop the middle school program, expanding to a rigorous and academically challenging set of courses.

Throughout the years, she played various roles within education. She taught multiple grade levels ranging from first grade to eighth grade. She served as a Department Head, Grade Level Lead, and Curriculum Specialist where she focused on analyzing student data to optimize student learning.

Mrs. Triana graduated with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida International University. Mrs. Triana is committed to maintaining a safe and nurturing environment while strengthening the academic program at APA and ACSM so that all students can excel and achieve their academic goals. Mrs. Triana believes in supporting the whole child in all aspects of education including socialization, knowledge acquisition, character development, and promoting extracurricular activities that gives students a chance to excel. Mrs. Triana is proud to be a part of the APA and ACSM Tiger family.

Mrs. Michelle
Osorio-Mir

Asst. Principal

Michelle Osorio joins AcadeMir from the Miami-Dade County Public School District with over 22 years of successful experience in the field of education. As a dedicated educator, she has had the pleasure of positively impacting the lives of students in both the public and private sector at every stage of development from the early years to high school. Mrs. Osorio’s passion for education has led her to serve as Grade-Level Team Leader, Behavior Management Specialist, and as an English Language Arts Curriculum Leader. Most recently, she served as a School Assessment Coordinator and as a Schoolwide Professional Leader Support Team Member.

She holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Miami with an emphasis in Reading (K-12), Special Education (K-12), and ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) (K-12). She earned an Educational Specialist from Barry University in Educational Leadership (K-12). In 2007, Mrs. Osorio was awarded the distinction of National Board Teacher Certification in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts, and in 2017 was selected to participate in the Florida Department of Education Assessment Committee responsible for examining the Florida State Assessment (FSA) in reading for secondary students for all the state of Florida. For over a decade, Mrs. Osorio has been an influential leader within the community as the co-owner and vice president of AcadeMir Preschool (ages: 1 – VPK). She is delighted to now join the administrative team at APA-ACSM where she hopes to collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to the overall success of the students and families within the community
